On June 19, twenty-one watch-making pioneers officially opened the door to watch-making world, which represented the resolution of an era. 

The “First Prototype Watch” which was the first wristwatch of Beijing Brand was released. It was an epoch-making representative work of Beijing Watch.

“Dragon & Phoenix” Platinum Diamond-studded Watch made first exhibited appearance in Swiss Basel International Watch Fair. The watch undertakes thorough microscopic carving on over 100 parts, which has broken seven records in global watch-making history. Former Premier of State Council Mr. Zou Jiahua personally made inscription of “Dragon & Phoenix, the Universe in Limited Space” for it. In September, 2006, this watch was collected with the value of one million yuan. 

In April, Beijing tourbillon minute repeater watch “Han Style” made its first appearance in Basel International Watch Fair. This watch has a total of 351 parts. Minute repeater is a complex function of mechanical watch and concurrently the biggest challenge confronted by mechanical watch-making techniques. 

In April, Beijing Watch created “Athena” Deep Relief Tourbillon Gold Watch, the dial and plate have been cumulatively carved for about twenty million times. The thickness of dial is merely 1.5mm and the thinnest part on background of dial plate is as thin as merely 0.02 mm. It can be said to have reached the acme of perfection for its great exquisiteness and complexity.

On December 14, Beijing Watch donated “Yingxiu” Skeleton Mechanical Women’s Watch to China Siyuan Foundation for Poverty Alleviation. The proceeds RMB 48,000were all used in Rose Valley Program of Beichuan County which was a severely affected area in “May 12th” Earthquake.

In July,Tai Chi Bi-axial 3D-printed Tourbillon Watch made first appearance in Shenzhen International Watch Fair. The tourbillon simultaneously rotates around two mutually perpendicular axes. The applied force on defying gravity is greatly reinforced, while the difficulty also increases geometrically. 

“Butterflies over Flowers” Double-sided Enamel Movement Tourbillon Watch extracted design inspiration from classic culture and initiated to manually manufacture double-sided cloisonné enamel on major bridge of tourbillon movement. The watch was successfully auctioned RMB 896,000 in Autumn Auction of Beijing Poly Auction Co., Ltd.  

In July, Beijing Watch B24 Twin-barrel & Two-pin Escapement Speed-adjustment Mechanism Movement was successfully produced. The 18K gold enamel watch "Happiness", " Affluence ", "Longevity", "Joy" which carried B24 movement and 18K gold watch “Confucian Saga”(Ru Jia) with pearl shell compound dial were released at the same time.

“The Infinite”(Wu Ji), the first Tri-axial 3D-printed Double Tourbillon Watch in China, was successfully researched and manufactured, which was a gift presented to the 55th anniversary of watch-making tradition consistently upheld by Beijing Watch.

Beijing Watch consistently keeps pioneering and breakthrough watch-making technique, launched ultra-thin tourbillon movement TB10. Movement thickness was reduced to as thin as 2.9mm, time-keeping duration was extended to 80 hours.
